12-30 months
Relationships come first
Toddler Care welcomes children ages 12 to 30 months. This is a time of rapid change: children are discovering new ways to move, communicate, and participate in daily life. Journey's focus is gentle, nurturing care that helps each child build trust while exploring those growing abilities.
Two classes are split by birthday window to keep the age spread to about six months. That allows the program to meet children within a closer developmental range without assuming that everyone grows at the same pace. A child's interests and needs matter alongside their age.
Small discoveries are meaningful learning
For a toddler, learning can happen through a familiar interaction, an attempt to communicate, or a chance to try something independently. Play and exploration give children concrete experiences to return to. Adults support those efforts with connection and guidance rather than expecting instant mastery.
Journey's broader approach brings nature, many forms of expression, and emotional learning into the school experience. Ask how those principles are adapted for the toddler classrooms, including outdoor participation and transitions. The goal is to understand what your own child's day would look like, not simply compare a list of activities.
Find the right fit for your family
Journey is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:30pm, year-round. The school offers part-time attendance of two to four days or full-time attendance of five days, up to ten hours per day. Tuition includes meals, snacks, learning supplies, and curriculum. Confirm current toddler availability and arrangements directly with the school.
Enrollment begins with the waitlist, and tours are offered when a relevant opening becomes available. Share your child's routines, interests, and any support needs so the conversation can be specific. The CDC milestone resources below can help families understand development; they are not an admissions checklist or a way to rank children.
We'd love to meet your family
